Exciting Links

posted Nov 7, 2011 11:44 AM by Sean Cahill   [ updated Nov 7, 2011 11:45 AM ]

Here are the links that everyone should be excited about.  The new YLT is pretty good and the Eagle workbook should be used now.  The last item is a rundown on just what changes have been made.

The Guide to advancement is meant for ALL Scouts, not just Boy Scouts.

Scout Work Opportunity

posted Sep 29, 2011 8:12 PM by Sean Cahill

Greetings!

I need your help in recruiting high school kids to work at the Harton Hospital Picnic this Saturday.  The THS band usually works this event, but they will be at a competition this Saturday.  I am hoping there are Boy Scouts out there who want to earn a little money ($40), get a free meal, and help with game booths this Saturday, October 1. The details are attached. We are only looking for high school aged students.

We only need 17 kids, so it will be on a first response basis as far as signing up.   Please put out the message to the your scout troop.

Note:  If you wish for your troop to receive the money in lieu of the scout, please let me know.

Please call me if you have questions.

THANK YOU in advance for your help with this.

Ronald McDonald House Donations

posted Sep 29, 2011 8:11 PM by Sean Cahill

We are collecting donations for our home away from home....the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville, SC.  Their wish list is below.  We will be collecting until we leave the first week in October or until our car is full...I would LOVE for it to be full :)  If you are a member of an organization that would be willing to help, by all means, go for it. Get your kids involved.  Tell your friends and neighbors about Kendyn and his friends with EoS.  Help us use this as an opportunity to raise more awareness. Kendyn LOVES to stay at "McDonalds House" and he LOVES to carry all the goodies in and put them by the big sign and take a picture :)  Not to mention....it helps keep the cost low for all of us families that need the facility :)

Thank you in advance!  I can't begin to tell you what it means to have such a great place to stay when we travel for not so fun reasons.  It's the only thing that makes Kendyn WANT to go to SC...he actually gets excited and all he talks about the entire trip there is the RMH :)
